Budapest Stag Weekend

Budapest Stag Weekends - fact 1: The City
Divided in two by the River Danube, the "PEST" part of the city is known as "The Paris of the East", and offers an amazing number of restaurants, nightclubs, strip clubs, bars and pubs. For those looking to eat, drink, and be merry, Budapest offers all that and more!
Budapest Stag Weekends - fact 2: The Weather
In the summertime Budapest has one of the highest rates of sunshine in Europe with temperatures averaging 30 degrees Celsius in the summer months. Its winters are on par with weather experienced in the UK during the same time.
Budapest Stag Weekends - fact 3: The Currency
The average exchange rate of £1 to 300 Hungarian Forint or 'HUF' means that your money goes farther; we recommend you exchange your money IN Hungary and you will get more than if you exchange it in Britain. Generally, if you exchange it in the UK beforehand, you will get 10% less or only 260 HUF in the exchange.
Budapest Stag Weekends - fact 4: Safety
Safety; Budapest has one of the lowest crime rates of any European cities. While that does not mean you should not be careful, it does mean that there are many safe venues to enjoy yourself at, such as open-air nightclubs, Rio, Bed Beach, Dokk Beach, Buddha Beach indoor nightclubs, Moulin Rouge, B7, Old Mans, Tabu and Sir Lancelot restaurant.
Budapest Stag Weekends - fact 5: Stag activities
In addition, Budapest offers many sporting activities designed to appeal to all levels of competitors. These include mountain climbing, go karting, trabant rally, and paintball, helicopter tours, parachuting, and shooting. Currently the most 'in' activity is go karting, although there are some intense activities that cross the line and have an element of danger to them. Skydiving after drinking a liter of vodka the night before or target shooting a 9 mm gun after the same can make anyone's head 'explode'!
Budapest Stag Weekends: A word of warning regarding beautiful girls
A word of caution to those intrigued by mysterious, beautiful women asking you to buy them a drink - DON'T. High-end and low-end clubs will charge exorbitant drink prices with your beautiful companion ending up sipping on water disguised in a champagne goblet. Even coffee shops can be a trap when a beautiful woman talks you into buying her a cup of coffee - one that can end up costing you hundreds of Euros. Be aware also that most strip clubs pay a 'taxi commission' to any independent taxi that takes a group to the clubs. Those guests end up being 'taken' by the highly inflated price of beers charged to the group - in English pounds that can be mean paying between £4-£14 per beer! Budapesthungary.hu IS NOT paid a taxi commission and stag groups that book with our company are charged approximately £3 per beer or 1000 HUF. If you care to indulge in a private dance, it lasts approximately two songs and the uniform price is about 10,000 HUF or approx. £30, exclusive of drinks.

Hi Michael, Just wanted to let you know we all had a great time in budapest. The appartment was spot on, and in a great location for us, and the transfers were on time too.
Thanks for the info on the clubs and taxi numbers too, though we never made it out of 4play!
